This diary depicts fictional events that have occurred a year prior to “The Diamond Guardians”© by Talin Mari… coming soon
October 14
My senior year in high school should really be a fun year, right? I surfed the internet and saw all the fun things other teens are doing this year. I wish my mother would let me go to the high school in town. It’s not like I don’t know how to drive! She keeps on telling me that I can’t go there because it’s too far.
In the past, my parents have also given me other reasons why I should be homeschooled. Sometimes, they’ve told me I can’t go to the local high school because I’m not used to being in a real school. Other times, they insisted that I’m smart and special and need to learn at my own pace. Maybe I should act dumb so that I can go to a real school.
Why did my parents have a normal high school social life? I have none at all! Mom told me that it’s for my own good. How can being homeschooled be for my own good? I’m stuck inside a forest of loneliness. I don’t even have a best friend that I can talk to about all of my feelings.
I guess it doesn’t matter anymore because I’m stuck doing my Calculus homework that my mom gave me all by myself. No group studying for me!
